ARGUE Support
Get started, manage your local opponent and keep your debates available.
Which iPhones can run ARGUE?
Debate generation requires iOS 17 or later and a compatible iPhone with at least 8 GB of memory. The local opponent is a 4-billion-parameter model. Browsing topics does not require loading it.
How do I install the opponent?
Choose Set Up My Opponent and follow the download screen. The model is approximately 2.5 GB; allow at least 3.1 GB of free storage for installation. Wi-Fi is recommended. Wait for verification and preparation to finish before starting your first argument. If a download is interrupted, use the available Resume or Retry action.
Can I explore while it downloads?
Use Explore While You Wait. Return to setup to check download progress. iOS may defer background activity depending on network, power and system conditions.
Why is a response taking time?
ARGUE generates each response on your iPhone. More complex arguments and the final judgment can take longer. Keep the app open while an argument is being generated. If a round reports an error, use its retry action.
What is free?
Your first complete five-round debate is free. Additional debates require ARGUE Pro. Opening the paywall does not purchase anything; Apple asks you to confirm a subscription.
Purchases, restoration and cancellation
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. A cancelled subscription remains available until its paid period ends, subject to Apple's status. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. For Apple billing assistance, visit Apple billing support.
What happens to my saved debates?
Debates and scores are saved locally. You can reopen completed transcripts and resume unfinished debates from History. Removing the model leaves that history in place. Deleting the app removes local data, so share anything you want to keep first.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. AI can make unsupported claims and imperfect judgments. Scores are game feedback, not a guarantee of factual truth. Consult reliable original sources for important decisions.
